When I moved to Pittsburgh in 2008, I was pleasantly surprised to find that city life is awesome! I served on multiple campuses in the greater Pittsburgh Metro area for seven years. I am still convinced Pittsburgh is the best city in the world, and the world agrees. (In recent years, it has repeatedly been voted one of the “Prettiest Cities in the World,” the “Most Livable City in the US,” and “Best of the World”… and not just by local Yinzers.)
In 2015, I left my favorite city to serve with Cru in Botswana on a one year STINT ("Short Term International" assignment). It has been my dream to live and serve in Africa since my sophomore year of college, and after many (maaaany) years of waiting and praying, the Lord finally made my dream a reality. I was ready to commit to living in Botswana long term when the Lord called me back to the US to serve in a new role.

I served as the Associate National Director of Global Missions for the Mid-Atlantic Region until a reorganization of the campus ministry shifted roles and responsibilities. I now serve as the International Staff Coordinator for the northeastern corner of the US, Cohorts 1-4. This role combines my passion for the nations and cross-cultural ministry, my love for administration and providing structural support, and my gifting in the ares of shepherding and care.
One of my greatest passions in life is reconciliation and restoration. My favorite part of ministry is seeing men and women enter into life-changing community where they experience healing, grow in their understanding of the people they were created to be, and step out in confidence to fill the Kingdom roles only they can fill.
(And just so you know, my name it pronounced “curse tin hine.” It’s a “curse” because no one can pronounce it. Get it?!?)
